What to Expect at Your First Visit

Reaching out to a new dentist can be a stressful experience for a child. Watertown Pediatric Dentistry strives to make this transition seamless with our personalized care plans. Our team will review your child’s health records, and you will then meet members of our dental team.

We’ll take a quick tour, answer any questions, and have your child examined by Dr. Andrew. We invite you to be in the room during the first exam. During this exam, Dr. Andrew will check your child’s head and neck and evaluate their teeth, gums, and bite. To help put your child at ease, we will not begin cleaning their teeth until we explain and demonstrate the procedure.

Our Appointment Policies

You can call or schedule online to schedule an appointment. This time will be exclusively reserved for your child. If your child would like to change the appointment, please give us 48 hours’ notice so we can reschedule that time slot. Please speak with our team to be put on our cancellation list and potentially reschedule your child’s appointment sooner!

Our Insurance Policies

We are happy to prepare the forms for your dental benefits, but please know that your policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. We recommend familiarizing yourself with your benefits and deductibles. You are also responsible for the total obligation if your insurance benefits do not cover it. We work with many insurance companies. Each policy is unique so please contact our office if you would like to discuss your child’s benefits.
